The Amish Forum Has Shut Down for Good!

Amisch.de, Amish People ... Amisch und deren Lebensweise, sowie das deren Verwandten den Mennoniten und den Hutterern.
The Amish people, their traditional way of life, and their close relatives—the Mennonites and Hutterites.

The forum (Board) and the entire site are now closed.

Out of over 5,300 forum members, only one person was truly committed to keeping it going—nowhere near enough to sustain it. And then there were the others who kept dropping in, always ready to argue positions that, while maybe rooted in late Pietist or Victorian thinking, had little to do with the gospel. That didn’t exactly help matters.

So, as planned, the Amish Forum closed its doors at the end of 2021 after a solid 20-year run..
